" In our new production line for diced and stripped chicken we needed an IQF freezer. From our old lines we had experience from cryogenic freezing of mentioned products. We were not happy with the result. That method created clumps that were necessary to break up. This negatively influenced the appearance of the product. Moreover we had problems in the multihead weighing equipment. The cryogenic operational cost was significant.
We invested in an OctoFrost™. We produce in two-shift operation. The separation of the product and the appearance is excellent and we can freeze the product to a much lower temperature than what was economically possible in the cryogenic freezer.
